I have a big issue with these supposedly comforting terms that basically deny that someone has the freedom to feel sad. The stuffing of so called negative feelings that we all have, cripples us from learning how to handle them and doesn't let us process emotions as we should. Telling someone who is sad that happiness is a choice is uncaring and cruel
